I had the pleasure of taking the Idrija lace class with Allie Marguccio. She is a wonderful and patient teacher, and I enjoyed the class very much.
We made an angel! I purchased the wooden angel bodies from her husband, Tom, and completed the white and silver angel shortly after the class was completed. Then I immediately made a blue and silver angel as a Christmas gift for my sister. We used Idrija 30 thread, and DMC metallic silver thread. While I had worked on several Idrija patterns prior to this class, there were new techniques to make the angel an interesting step on my lacing journey.
This was a challenging project, but Allie made it doable!

I'm not a huge fan of leaves but couldn't resist trying it!
Anita Hansen, Cedar Rapids, Iowa
I finished four of the five projects from Elizabeth Peterson’s Continuing Beds class. This was by far the most leaves I ever made in a short period of time. I finished the last piece about three weeks after the class.
