I enjoyed the pattern so much that I made several more bracelets in different colors.
Pattern is modified from an edging found in the book 101 Torchon Patterns by Robin Lewis-Wild ("Edging 13," page 12).
I love how the same pattern can look so different depending on the colors that are used. These bracelets have become great gifts.

Lace Techniques: Bobbin Lace - Torchon Lace using basic techniques (Cloth Stitch and Half Stitch Trails, Torchon Ground, Spiders and a Footside Edge).
Materials: 20 pairs of bobbins, pins, 24" cookie pillow, white size 80 Lizbeth thread, blue 1 1/2" satin ribbon, blue 5/8" satin ribbon, white and blue sewing thread, hot glue gun, blank hair barrette and a large (1") IOLI membership pin

Additional Comments: I extended the pattern to about 9 3/4", starting and finishing on a straight edge and joining the end to the beginning for the loop part of the bow. I then made two additional 6 1/2" pieces, one starting on a left slant and one on a right slant, both ending on a straight edge. I joined the start of these two pieces together for the loose ends of the bow. I then glued the narrow ribbon around the centre of these pieces and added my IOLI pin.
